Camden Vale-Smith's 2022 works "Coruscate" and "Rekindle" show his ability to transform a sample into a melodic and rhythmic work captured in bright shutters of piano riffs scattered with varying drum patterns and scattered instruments; chaotic yet controlled.

"Um Yo" is a definitive look at who Vale-Smith is. Vale's uniquely scattered and catchy rhythms can vividly be heard across 20 tracks on "Um Yo", unapologetically exploring every nook and cranny of the world Vale never wants to leave. These songs are soaring with joy and vibrancy but feel subtly torn and damaged, making it the most welcoming and openly apprehensive of his albums thus far.
